As the Association for Quality Economics prepares to launch in April, we are excited to be recruiting for the first cohort of AQE student fellows.
Fellows will be current undergraduate or postgraduate students within the discipline of economics or related degrees who are committed to using the discipline to create a fairer, more sustainable world. Student fellows will play an active role in the development of AQE and the design of the fellowship in following years.
Why become a fellow
- Gain hands on experience shaping the economics discipline for the better through feeding into the development of AQE
- Gain professional experience in economics by shadowing economists at the New Economics Foundation and connecting with employers
- Publish your ideas and research with editorial support from economists at the New Economics Foundation
- Develop strong sustainability skills and an understanding of the wider education system by shadowing Students Organising for Sustainability
- Access free membership to the AQE including all benefits for two years
- Engage with eminent economists and expand your network
- £100 stipend to support travel to high level AQE launch in London
We are looking to award one-year fellowships to three students this year. The fellowship also comes with 2 years of free AQE membership.
